Service Description
STEM Futures Academy Building the engineers, inventors and problem-solvers of tomorrow! STEM Futures Academy is an exciting project-based enrichment programme for children in Years 2–4. This half term, children embark on an immersive STEAM mission where they become engineers, inventors, coders and designers, working together to solve exciting real-world challenges. Through hands-on investigations, robotics, engineering, coding, invention and creative design, children explore how ideas are developed, tested and improved. Rather than completing standalone activities, they work towards a shared project, learning that great ideas often come through teamwork, curiosity and perseverance. Every project follows our STEM Futures process: 🚀 Launch an exciting mission 🔍 Explore and investigate 💡 Design creative solutions 🛠 Build and create ⚙ Test and improve 🌟 Showcase and celebrate Throughout the programme, children develop confidence, resilience, creativity and critical thinking while having fun solving meaningful STEM challenges. Cancellation Policy
Booking Information Please read the following before booking your child's place: -The £44 fee covers the full 7-week half-term programme. Individual sessions cannot be booked separately, and refunds cannot be given for missed sessions. -This club is exclusively for children attending Tittensor First School. Bookings for children from other schools cannot be accepted. -The club runs immediately after school and finishes at 4:30 pm. Children should be collected promptly from the agreed collection point. -Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. -By booking, you confirm that your child will be able to attend the full programme wherever possible and that the information provided during booking is accurate. Please note: If the school is closed or the club is cancelled by Playtivity for any reason, an alternative session or refund for the cancelled session will be offered. 🎁 Exclusive Booking Bonus As a thank you for booking a place on STEM Futures Academy, every child will receive one FREE Playtivity Saturday STEAM Club voucher held at Frank Jordan Centre, Stone 9.15-10.45 (worth £10.50) to use during the Autumn Term. Our Saturday Clubs are packed with exciting hands-on STEAM challenges, giving children another opportunity to explore, create and have fun outside of school. Voucher Terms: -One voucher per child per half term booked onto Tittensor after school club. -Valid for one Playtivity Saturday Club during the Autumn Term only. -Advance booking via the Playtivity website is required. Subject to availability. Non-transferable. No cash alternative.
